If you are a professional, ie. working professionally or professionally trained in your field, you have the opportunity to apply for your CV certified as a Pro. It is a quality label of the CV and is a safe way to distinguish professional members from amateurs.
Anyone can apply for a Pro certification, but only Premium subscribers can make full use of the Pro certification's features, such as applying for assignments made available only to Pro. If you have a Freemium subscription, you can get a pre-notification of Pro certification. You can thus be approved as a Pro but will only be activated when you upgrade to Premium.
We require that you can be considered a professional in one of our represented professions. The following three approaches are offered:
You must have been employed in one of our represented professions for a total of 12 months during a 3-year period. Work experience must be proven by uploading a work certificate ("collaboration certificate" if you are a freelancer). The experiences you prove must first be listed in one of your CVs in order for them to be added. If you have not collected work certificates from your employers, you can ask for it retrospectively. Please note that we do not require employment contracts, but mainly work certificates where it is clear which assignment (s) you have had and during which period.

You must be fully educated from a qualified, 2- or 3-year professional education. Completed education must be certified with a school certificate, diploma or similar. Only schools and educations listed on our website are approved. If a 2- or 3-year professional education that you have completed is not listed with us, please contact us at customerservice@stagepool.com.

StagePool has different types of agents. Some of the agents works only with professional performers and others are working with both professional performers and talents. It is therefore important that you always contact customerservice@stagepool.com so that you can be sure of that you qualify for Pro. You are always welcome to contact us if you have questions about your agent or if you can´t find your agent in this list: ”Agents”.
In addition to work experience, professional training or an agent connection, we also require that your CV is completely filled in and that it contains at least one portrait photo of good quality. Unfortunately, we reject many applications due to poor quality of CVs and photos.
We have chosen to follow several European unions' requirements for one year of professional experience or 2- / 3-year professional training to be classified as competent. In addition to this, we also accept artists represented by approved agents as this proves that they are professionals.
Yes, we can weigh together, for example, a half-completed professional training in combination with your combined professional experience in the same profession. Please note that we always make an individual assessment of each case. We place great emphasis on the big picture of your resume.
No. It costs nothing to become Pro-certified. However, to use the Pro features, you need a Premium subscription.

We process all applications in the order in which they are received. Our goal is for the application to be processed within two weeks, sometimes it can take longer. The clearer the document you attach to your application, the faster we can process it.
Yes, you can return to the Pro application form at any time by going to My Account > Subscription and clicking the Pro link. In the form, you can still make changes even if you have already submitted the application.
Along with the message that you have been rejected, there are a few words from the administrator and they explain why your application has been rejected. We often ask for additional information or improvements to your CV or photo. Go to your application for Pro by clicking on the link in your message or go via My Account > Subscription and click on the link for Pro. There you can make the requested changes and additions and resubmit your application.
If you cancel your Premium subscription, your CV will retain the Pro certification in case you would like to subscribe to Premium again. But almost all Pro features disappear. For example, you can not apply for Pro assignments or be contacted via ProBase and you will not be included in Pro assignments.
If you do not have the authority to become a Pro, you do not need to worry. Actors and clients in the entertainment industry will always be looking for talent in all segments, from newcomers to veterans and from amateurs to professionals. Many times the boundary between them is diffuse or irrelevant. Pro certification is just a tool for casting agents to distinguish the members who are professional in contexts where it is important.
